intermediate high above the
Alps, with a
cloudless and a deep blue sky, makes another good day for photographing the sun. There are gusty, cold winds in our valley and beginning tonight several snowfalls are expected down to
400m until mid / end next week, accompanied by frost down to
-8°C:
Winter is coming!After it was recently quite quiet on the solar disk in the visible spectrum,
several groups of spots have been migrating in from the left edge of the sun for a few days. Three days ago it didn't look so impressive. Above all, the
seeing was particularly bad, which is why I was only able to take
a mediocre "evidence photo" that day.
Today the
seeing is still very disturbing, but significantly
better: I photographed
1300 images with an exposure time of
0.032 ms each, after I had previously
invested a lot of time focusing: The splendor of the numerous large and many small sunspots once again captivated me enthusiastic! Only 100 images are stacked to form the overall image, followed by the usual processing with sharpening and adjustment of the tonal values.
